Screen protector

The first thing you should do if your Samsung Galaxy S7 screen is broken or scratched and you want to prevent worsening of crack in the glass, we recommend you to get a good quality screen protector.

Do it yourself

  • First of all, turn off your phone.
  • Ensure taking the back cover off the phone, and as a tip, it might help using a hair dryer and at the same time prying up the plastic cover with something thin like a plastic card.
  • Using a screwdrive, remove all of the screws attached to the motherboard.
  • Consequently you have to remove in a very gently way the motherboard.
  • The LCD screen is attached to glue which keeps it hold. Hence, you can soft the glue applying some heat.
  • Due to the thinness, you might have a razor, then it will help you to pry the screen up. Find a plastic card to put it in between the LCD screen and the case.
  • Again, being very smooth, move the plastic card around the zone between the screen and case, until the screen releases.
  • Make sure your Samsung left behing any broken glass by cleaning out the case and screen frame.
  • Also, when you grab the new LCD screen don´t apply  much pressure. As a result it might break it.
