Going Mute & Still Heardable

My Reviews
I remember once when having a sleepover at my all so loud friend's place, I found her talking on her cell pretty slow and calm, almost whispering which was not working at all. It was like 2 a.m. and I was freaking sleepy, she has being disturbing me a lot. I finally got up and asked what the hell was wrong and who she was talking to at this point of time, she shut me up and said it was her boyfriend and she had to whisper or her parents would notice. That was the time I noticed sometimes how important it gets for one person to lay low (literally). Well, I didn't get my sleep that night but I guess people like me would find a solution soon.

Valid Story
How many times have you wanted to jump on your cell phone to make a call, but thought it might not be advisable in a particular place — like a movie theater, or a public bathroom? Well, some researchers at the Institute for Anthropomatics at The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have developed a technology that enables people to speak soundlessly and still to be understood by the conversation partner. This technology is based on the principle of Electromyography, or the acquisition and recording of electrical potentials generated by muscle activity in the face.
Soundless calling not only works to avoid disturbing others, this breakthrough also has applications when it comes to the transmission of Confidential information. For the transmission of passwords and PIN numbers, for example, users can change to soundless language and, hence, transmit confidential information in a tap-proof manner. However, if someone can read lips, you might be in trouble. Perhaps the solution is to voice your confidential information silently, and spin in circles – it’s just a thought.

Why Is It Revolutionary?
It’s technology that enables you to speak silently on your mobile phone and having the other person on the other end of your call understand what you’re saying. It is the best way to reveal information if a person doesn't want to disturb others or talk about them. Its still new and maybe we will see people lip synch in future!
