Microsoft is working with Apple to fix iCloud bugs

in Windows 10 October Update
Microsoft says to work with Apple on a solution to the problems with iCloud for Windows. The Apple software is not compatible with the Windows 10 October Update. PCs with iCloud will not receive the new Windows update for now.

Microsoft has put the details about the problems on its Windows 10 update page. It states that the company is working together with Apple on a solution and that comes in a ‘next version’ of the Windows 10 October Update. It is not clear when the update is available. Due to the problems with iCloud in combination with the October Update, photo albums are not correctly updated or synchronized.

Windows users who have installed iCloud will not get the Windows 10 October Update pushed to their system for the time being. Microsoft does not recommend users to manually download the update. Anyone who has already installed the update and tries to install iCloud will be notified that Windows version 1809 is not compatible.

Last week , Microsoft resumed the release of the Windows 10 October Update after the roll-out had stopped for more than a month due to problems with files that had disappeared. In addition to the problems with iCloud, there are also other bugs. It turned out that there are still problems with network drives and also the new Windows version is not compatible with old AMD Radeon GPUs. On systems with video cards from the HD2000 or HD4000 series, tabs in Edge may crash. Microsoft says to investigate that problem.
