Paradox announces strategy game Imperator: Rome

Paradox Interactive has announced the strategy game Imperator: Rome. The game takes place at the time of the Roman Empire and has to be released in 2019. There are not many details about the game yet.

Paradox, creator of cities such as: Skylines and Stellaris, says that the game has the most detailed folder that the developer ever put in a game. The game is set in the centuries between the rich who founded Alexander the Grotes heirs until Rome works an imperial, says Paradox .

This is the period between the third and first century BC, a time when Rome went from a city state with influence only over its own region to a world empire with provinces stretching from the current Benelux in the north to Egypt in the south. and Portugal and Spain in the west to the Middle East. At the peak, a quarter of the world’s population lived in the Roman Empire.

There are not many details about the game yet. The trailer that Paradox put online at the announcement does not show anything about the game itself. The grand strategy game has to be released next year.
