Addiction to smart electronic devices affects productivity

The World Summit was hosted by Ariana Huffington, founder and CEO of Threat Global and the Huffington Post Blog, which addressed the third women’s revolution and focused on ways and means to empower women to strengthen social ties and reduce work pressures.

“The scourge of stress and exhaustion has become a global phenomenon that can not be sustained as millions of people around the world hold the false idea that they have to endure exhaustion to succeed in their career,” said Huffington.

“The way we work has become futile for its impact on our productivity. A Gallup study found that the majority of employees who complain of lack of concentration in their work are exhausted, causing them psychological stress and some of them resigning,” she said.

Huffington also pointed out that the increasing addiction to Electronic Devices and smart affects negatively on our ability to do any meaningful work or even the completion of the tasks entrusted to us as a result of fatigue, prompting governments to develop ministries that are happy.

Huffington explained that everyone inside has a center of wisdom and a sense of peace. When a person loses contact with the center, he loses his ability to concentrate, do productive work and control emotions. She advises that everyone should be constantly energized to be able to look at life with optimism.

“We have reached a stage where we can not think of living apart from our smart machines, and advertising companies are aware of this and are exploiting it to achieve returns,” Huffington said. She also pointed out that users of social media sites are the most vulnerable segment of the depression because they compare the lives of others and look forward to a life unrelated to their reality.

Ms. Huffington stressed the importance of communities restoring relationships and linkages, prioritizing mental health, and eliminating toxins from constant exposure to social networking sites and smart devices.

“Artificial intelligence will not be more creative, compassionate, loving or wise than human beings,” Ms. Huffington concluded. She concludes by calling on working women to focus on enhanced humanity instead of focusing on enhanced reality so that they can find effective solutions to job challenges.
