Play Mario on your Linux or Windows.

Tags: linux love mario

You must had played the  mario game by Nintendo in your childhood!  How it could be if you can still play it on your Linux or Windows or OSX system without need of any emulator?

Kudos to the developers at  stabyourself.net . They  recreated the  Super Mario Bros from the scratch with the same feel and look of original game. Only change in this version of mario is that it carry a gun to create the portals! They have named it Mari0. (it’s zero in the last ). Game is Licensed under BY-NC-SA 3.0.

You can download Game for your  platform from this page.

On Linux you need a package named LÖVE to play this game. Löve is a 2D gaming framework based on the Lua programming language.

You can install Love on your Linux system using package managers. To play open the game file (ending with .love extension) with Love or in command line type: $ love <game_file_name.love>.
