10-minute DIY Mardi Gras Mask Instructions
Step 1
Cut the printed mask template. Do not trim the margin.
Step 2
Using the mask cutout as guide, trace a copy of it on the backside of the glittered paper with a pencil. Cut the tracing after and set aside.
Step 3
Take the bamboo skewer and cut off the sharp tip to avoid accidents. Then, apply a small amount of glue on the tip.
Step 4
Place the tip of the ribbonette on the glued part and let it dry. Afterwhich, carefully and completely wrap the bamboo skewer with the ribbon. Then, apply glue on the other end to seal. Do cut the excess ribbon. Leave it to dry.
Step 5
Get the mask and apply some glue on one side (back side). Then, place the ribbon-wrapped skewer to serve as mask holder. Leave it to dry .
Follow these simple and easy steps and create a festive-ready Mardi Gras mask in less than 10 minutes! Put more fun to it by adding feathers and other decors to make it more unique.
