Indoor Air Quality

Everyday we hear about the Air Quality outside. We hear about how pollution is affecting air everywhere. What we don't hear about is Indoor Air Quality. We don't think about the air we breathe inside buildings. We assume that it is clean air and there is nothing harmful in it. We now know that indoor air may be even worse quality than the outdoor air. This is because of the different cleaning chemicals, heating exhaust, and other natural and synthetic products that affect the air inside our homes. Also large collections of dust, animal hair, and chemicals from the air ducts can seriously effect our health. One of the easiest ways to keep your indoor air quality good is to use as little of these air born cleaning chemicals as possible, dust, vacuum, and keep your air ducts and heating vents clean. This will help reduce allergies to air born pathogens/particles, and help reduce such things as asthma or other breathing conditions.
