Yesterday 7/31/09, Apple made iPhone OS 3.0.1 available for end users via iTunes. The new software update fixes a widely publicized security flaw in which hackers could gain control of an iPhone through its SMS application. No new features are being introduced at this time and all Iphone users are encouraged to update their phone.
