OnePlus 6T: Should OnePlus 6 users upgrade to OnePlus 6T?

OnePlus has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone Oneplus 6T, where the OnePlus 6T has replaced its old version i.e. OnePlus 6. So if you are thinking that you already have OnePlus 6 but now you want to buy OnePlus 6T, then it is not possible because the company is following a device policy.

This policy has been criticized by many users. However, the company has its own motive behind it so that it wants to balance its new and old smartphones. The new OnePlus 6T comes in three storage variants, where the cost of 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is Rs 62,999, while the cost of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is Rs 65,999, while the cost of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is Rs 69,999. If we compare it to OnePlus 6, then the price of 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage is Rs 78,000. Here the price of base variants has been Decreased.

But should you upgrade the phone?

Here are two big differences in both phones. The first is the display fingerprint sensor and the other phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. But the USB Type C and 3.5mm adapter in the OnePlus box is free for you. Type C headphones are not provided in the box, i.e. you need to take separate bullet wireless earphones. Water Drop Notch has been used in OnePlus 6T. Due to this, the phone seems quite different. But if the phone is looking so good then does it mean that you should upgrade the phone?

The phone has been used in both the same processor, which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, while there is Android 9.0 Pie. So right now you have to pay attention to whether you should upgrade or not but from our perspective you should be happy with OnePlus 6.
