But here is one another option recently; Instagram announced that you would soon gain the ability to Mute other users. When muted, then the user’s story and photos will no longer show up in your latest feed page, but without knowing the entire person that you still follow them and everything is just fine.

One of the best options is muting an Account which is especially handy only if you don’t want to upset a relative or friend by unfollowing their Instagram account but just can’t stand the continuous workout or some brunch of photos.

This feature is developing over the next few weeks, so if you don’t have the option rather yet, then keep checking for it.

It is even not that simple, Instagram makes it easy to take a look om who is following you and who is not, and if any of your friends find out what you did, then your perception of social media could move to stumble out into a real-life argument. If next time, if you see that some frustrating or annoying activities happened in your feed, then you simply need a click on the three dots which appear on the top-right corner of the post. Thus assuming that you have the latest Instagram updates, which might take few days to reach everyone, after the feature added in your account, you should see a new menu option, i.e., “Mute.” Tap, and now you have to decide whether to mute that persons account posts (including Stories) or only want to mute their public images.

After muting the person, you can still chat with those people over Instagram’s direct messaging feature. And you can also check out their posts by visiting on their profile page. If you want to like some occasional photo to keep up appearances, then there is any way to see, as you muted their accounts.
