Step 4: Select on your Apple ID, Enter your Apple ID and password if you are not logged in
Step 5: Click on Add email
Step 6: Enter your phone number
Step 7: Make sure that the checkbox next to your phone number is activated so that you will be able to receive text messages on your Mac.
Remove Phone Number from iMessage on Mac, iPhone & iPad :
When you use iMessage, then you will always receive iMessage from other iPhone users. But it can create a problem if you want to switch to Android or other platforms as you won’t be able to receive even normal message from iPhone users. Remove Phone Number from iMessage on iPhone :
Step 1 Open Settings on your iPhone and go to Messages.
Step 2 Slide the iMessage slider to off position and then go back to Settings.
Step 3 Go to FaceTime and turn off its slider too. This will remove your phone number from iMessage on iPhone.
Remove Phone Number from iMessage on iPad :
Step 1 Go to Settings app on your iPad and then tap on Messages option.

Remove Phone Number from iMessage on Mac :
Step 1 Open Messages app on Mac and then go to Messages > Preferences.
Step 2 Click on the Accounts tab to see all the accounts on your Mac.
Step 3 Select your iMessage account and then deselect your phone number.
Step 4 Then go to FaceTime and click on FaceTime > Preferences > Settings.
Step 5 Deselect the phone number. You won’t receive iMessage on your Mac again from that number.
