The Jaguar XJ flagship sedan is turning 50 years old and to celebrate the occasion, Jaguar is introducing the special edition 2019 Jaguar XJ50. The XJ50 is debuting this week at the Beijing Motor Show and even though it’s labeled as a special edition, Jaguar plans to offer it in 100 countries.

In the U.S. the 2019 Jaguar XJ50 wheel only be offered with the long wheelbase, while other markets can choose either the standard or long wheelbase versions. The 2019 XJ50 can be powered by the 340hp 3.0L supercharged V6 with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, or a 470hp 5.0L supercharged V8 powertrain with rear-wheel-drive.

To celebrate the XJ, the 2019 XJ50 gets unique front and rear bumpers, special 20-inch wheels with gloss black diamond turned finish, a gloss black front grille and unique badging. Four colors will be available including Fuji White, Santorini Black, Loire Blue and Rosello Red.

Inside, the XJ50 features diamond-quilted seats with an embossed Jaguar leaper on the headrests and an XJ50 logo on the center armrest. There’s also unique intaglio branding and XJ50-badged illuminated treadplates.

In the UK the 2019 Jaguar XJ50 starts at £74,280, but Jaguar has not announced the pricing for the U.S. pricing for the special XJ.
