Whatsapp's New Version to Work form Landline Number

WhatsApp is designing a brand new service that’ll fully separate to the regular version of the app.

One of the most interesting & useful of these is about landline compatibility.

That should make it easier to separate their personal & professional lives, which will help with organization & save a lot of stress.

What’s more, they can link their firm’s landline number to their WhatsApp Business app, saving them from handing out their personal number to hundreds or potentially thousands of total strangers.

Messages & calls from customers will get to the landline number, but Business account users will be able to access them on their mobile.

To recap that WhatsApp & WhatsApp Business are separate, the business version of the application has a slightly different logo as well.

It has the same general design as the WhatsApp logo, but the Business badge features a B instead of a phone icon, & drops the white border.

WhatsApp Business is in fact quite similar to normal WhatsApp, but has 2 additional sections in the Setting s menu which are Statistics & Business Settings.

The Statistics section at present shows the total of messages sent, delivered, read & received, but more analytics-type tools are expected to roll out in the future.

Business Settings, in the meantime, lets users customize their profile & set automated responses for customers trying to get in contact during out of office hours.

WhatsApp Business is built to make it easier for businesses & regular users to communicate on the platform.

It is at this time only available for beta testers, but when it is ready people will be able to place orders on WhatsApp, & even receive updates from companies, like delivery confirmations & flight times, through it.
