Chinese Palladin 5 Prequel

New Prequel of Chinese Paladin 5
on Nvidia Shield

To become a reality due to Exagear technologies
used by Nvidia for updating their Shield console titles list

Nvidia has recently released the next part of their Legend of Paladin 5, which is a PC game adapted for their Nvidia Shield console. This part of the game is called Chinese Paladin 5: The Prequel. Just to remind, the “Chinese Paladin” is a very popular Live TV-show series started a long ago and is still hugely popular in China.

It is really important for Eltechs that this project is carried out by Nvidia with the help of our Eltechs ExaGear Engine technology, which allows porting PC games to Android devices (such as Nvidia Shield) without recompilation and with almost 100% native performance.

Currently, the information is still not translated into any of European languages and is available only on the Chinese version of the Nvidia website.

Initially developed by the Softstar Technology (Beijing) as a subsidiary of Daewoo Information Immortal Sword series, the game (as well as the series) gain such a devotion because the entire gameplay is literally imbued with Chinese culture. Players can enjoy the charm of cultural heritage via caligraphy, occasional national songs and poetry represented in conversations and occasional scenery details.

The Prequel differs from its predecessor The Legend of Paladin 5 with a plot story, which helps players to delve deeply into the circumstances and completely understand the entire context. Also, new characters are introduced and the number of characters’ skills is widened in this new release.

It’s worth saying that our unique ExaGear Engine technology was used for porting as some other games for Nvidia Shield console. In brief, ExaGear Engine enables direct running x86 binary codes on ARM-based devices. Our technology includes both binary translation and virtualization, providing a very high performance for ported games. At the moment, this way of bringing x86 PC games on Android is proved to be the simplest and fastest one!

In addition, there are two more games, which were ported to Nvidia Shield using our ExaGear technology. They are:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Action hack-and-slash game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. It was initially released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC (Windows). The main character of this action is Raiden, a cyborg, battling against the private military company called “The Desperado Enforcement”. The exciting gameplay focuses on the sword fighting, though the other weapons are also used for combos and counterattacks. Raiden has also a unique feature – the Blade Mode. It activates the slow motion for destroying the enemies as well as stealing items from them. The stealth ability can be set as optional for the reason of reducing the combat. Learn more

Resident Evil 5. A third-person shooter game developed by Capcom and firstly released in 2009. It is the seventh major installment in the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil 5 was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in March 2009 and for Microsoft Windows in September that year. The plot involves an investigation of a terrorist threat by Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) agents Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar in Kijuju, a fictional region of Africa. Redfield soon learns that he must confront his past in the form of an old enemy, Albert Wesker, and his former partner, Jill Valentine. Learn more
