Asus has brought two new budget smartphones in India, the ZenFone Max (M1) and Zenfone Lite (L1). Both smartphones will be competing with Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A and Redmi 6. However, these devices have been launched with an offer pricing.

Asus ZenFone Max (M1) Specifications, Features
The Asus ZenFone Max (M1) features a 5.45-inch display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
There is a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 and PDAF, while on the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It packs a 4000 mAh battery. It has got a more premium design as compared to ZenFone Max (M1) with a 2.5D curved glass on the front.
Asus ZenFone Lite (L1) Specifications, Features
The ZenFone Lite (L1) comes with the same display size and processor but has only 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The internal storage expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
The rear camera has a single lens of a 13-megapixel sensor and on the front, we get a 5-megapixel selfie sensor. It is fueled with a 3,000mAh and runs Android 8.0 out of the box.
Asus ZenFone Max (M1) and ZenFone Lite (L1) Price, Availability
The ZenFone Lite (L1) is priced at Rs 5,999 at launch, while the ZenFone Max (M1) is priced at Rs. 7,499. These prices are introductory and when the offer ends the ZenFone Max (M1) will be available at Rs. 8,999 and the ZenFone Lite (L1) will be available at Rs. 6,999.
Both phones will be available exclusively via e-commerce platform Flipkart during the Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Days sale but the company has not revealed the exact date.
