Huawei on Tuesday launched its latest Mate series smartphones including the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X at an event in London. At the launch, Huawei announced that all three devices are now available in select European markets. However, the company didn’t reveal any details on its availability or release date for other markets including India at the launch. Now a new teaser page of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is live now on Amazon India website confirming that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is soon coming to India.
However, the Amazon India teaser page doesn’t show an exact launch date for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro launch but it only reads as ”WELCOME TO A HIGHER INTELLIGENCE”. The page also has a Notify button to get an update on the device availability.
All these devices come with some really impressive premium features and specs, which includes a triple rear camera setup, device to device wireless charging with 40W on the Mate 20 X and 15W on the Mate 20 Pro SuperCharge support.
Among others, the Huawei Mate 20 X also comes with world’s first Nano memory card, which is claimed to be 45 percent smaller than the microSD card. On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specifications
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top, but it features a slightly bigger a 6.39-inch QHD+ with 1440×3120 pixels resolution curved OLED display than the Mate 20 and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Mate 20 Pro also powered by the same Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. Unlike the Mate 20, the Mate 20 Pro features an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is also IP68 water and dust resistance rating certified.
On the camera front, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also sports a triple rear camera setup including a primary 40-megapixel primary wide angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 20-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a third 8-megapixel 3X telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture couple with LED light and HDR mode.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with a 4,200mAh battery with support for the same 40W charging it also exclusively gets 15W fast wireless charging support which also includes world’s first reverse wireless charging technology used on a smartphone.
