But at the last moment changes in flagship designs are not possible, at least not in the usual scenario. And for a company like Sony, it is a big risk to change a finalized smartphone design a few days earlier to the release at a major international event, so probably the change is only in the specifications of the smartphone and not in the external design

Roland Quandt, the famous leakster notes that" it (the change ) is probably only about radio things, not about what the phone looks like ". So do not expect a change in aesthetics, but only in the internals. Obviously there will be a change from the previous generation, but that is absolutely no last moment. In fact, in at least one of the upcoming flagships, Sony is expected to abandon its OmniBalance design by unlocking a device with an 18: 9 screen and narrow edges.

Some schematic views of the device have already surfaced and indicate the presence of thin edges on the upper and lower part . At the bottom there is room for a front speaker. The device comes with NFC, and on the back there is the first setup for the dual camera at the back to be seen on a flagship of Sony. Until now, the only Sony Xperia device that was released with a dual camera setting was the Xperia XA2 Ultra, which has the setup on the front for a better bokeh effect on selfies. Sony Xperia XZ2 or Xperia XZ2 Pro will probably come with the best Qualcomm SoC under the hood: the new Snapdragon 845 with AI included.
