Apple Inc deserves an accolade.
The Cupertino based company announced – iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xs and iPhone XR two days ago from the time of this post. No appraisals, let’s get to business. The leading iPhone as of now, iPhone Xs Max costs $1000 plus whereas iPhone X plus cost $999 max. Despite the relatively insignificant difference in prices of both top-tiers, we can’t say that there is no major benefits with iPhone Xs Max.
Chipset
A12 Specs
Under the hood of iPhone Xs Max, lies what is not in any other Smartphone yet – 7 nanometer chip. Apple’s cooked up 7nM bionic chip, A12, for their latest iPhone batch.
A12, which is said to be better than it’s predecessor chip, A11 offers faster Artificial Intelligence processing power. With six-core fusion architecture, two performance cores and four efficiency-cores, Apple says A12 can crunch 5 trillion task in sec. Thanks to the 8 core Neural Engine which is specially designed to handle image and speech processing faster.
Four cores handles the graphic image processing, so you don’t have to worry about any lag while playing high-end games.
Camera
iPhone Xs Max Rear Camera
Two vertically places camera lay behind iPhone Xs Max. The 12Mp is totally acceptable regardless of the fact it’s of the the same resolution with iPhone X. Apple could wield more AI power out of A12 to enhance overall photography. Professional level bokeh effect and depth segmentation makes the best of photos in portrait mode. Smart HDR makes brings out more highlight and shadow details.
The front camera is no fluke at all. 7Mp is welcomed, it is more welcomed with the new TrueDepth feature. TrueDepth allows you to adjust the depth-of- field before and after taking a shot.
The new TrueDepth feature raises Face-ID security level. TrueDepth uses “precision depth-sensing technology” and enables you to unlock iPhone, use Apple Pay, gain access to secure apps with a simple glance.
Design
iPhone Xs Max body design has the golden ratio. The surrounding body is made of surgical-grade stainless still while the front and back are all glassy. Wireless charging is faster on iPhone Xs Max. Apple removed the bezels to almost nothing, while keeping the rampant top notch. The top notch houses the front camera and some can’t-do-without sensors.
Technical specs
iPhone. Xs Max comes with varying storage capacity. 64GB, 256GB and 512GB of internal storage models are available, so you won’t be needing a memory card, Apple didn’t even give you the option to.
4GB of RAM accompanies the A12 chip. That’s just a Gig higher than that of iPhone X. iPhone Xs Max packs in 1242 x 2488 pixels in a 6.5 inches Super Retina HD display screen. Water resistant test shows that iphone Xs Max lasts up to 30 minutes at 2 meters depth. Its not that embarrassing that none of the latest iPhone batches is 5G enabled. 5G is what we expect to see in phones from next year, but Xiaomi want to bring it closer to us.
