It’s just a few days left for the world’s biggest smartphone event the Mobile World Congress(MWC) 2018 which is going to happen in Barcelona from February 26th to March 1st. But the hype for it is never ending, Big companies like Samsung, Nokia, Sony are expected to launch their flagship smartphones at the event.So now we have more details about the event and smartphones which are expected to launch. So today let’s check out the expected smartphones to launch at MWC 2018.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

Now Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ were rumored numerous times and it is one of the main highlights of MWC 2018. Samsung Galaxy S9 and it’s bigger brother S9+ are going be the flagship smartphones from Samsung and now it is confirmed by Samsung that they are going to unveil the phone on February 25 which is actually one day before MWC.

According to past leaks, the Galaxy S9 is expected to sport a 5.8-inch super AMOLED infinity display, whereas the S9+ will be coming in a screen size of a 6.9-inch display. The smartphone this will be coming with 18:9 Aspect Ratio Screen but this time the bezels will be much thinner and smaller. It is rumored that both S9 and S9+ will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage respectively.

Nokia  Smartphones

Nokia at MWC 2018 is expected to launch a whole lineup of smartphones, starting with Nokia 3310 4G, Nokia 9 and Nokia 7 Plus. Previously the company launched Nokia 3310 but with 2G Internet capability, but this time Nokia is going to launch the same smartphone but with 4G enabled in it.

Nokia 7 Plus will be company’s first smartphone with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Recently, Evan Blass, a reliable tipster has posted some pictures of the phone and looking at the pictures the device looks beautiful with that 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Talking about the specifications, Nokia 7 Plus is expected to come with Snapdragon 660 Soc and 4GB + 64GB of storage. The smartphone is said to have a dual camera setup with 12MP+13MP camera sensors.

Nokia 9 will be a successor to Nokia 8 which did not do pretty well due to its pricing but Nokia 9 may be a true flagship of the company featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Soc and 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. Nokia 8Pro will be a more polished version of Nokia 8 and may feature a Pent-lens camera module. The phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage.

Alongside, Nokia 4 and Nokia 1 are also expected to launch at MWC 2018.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S

Xiaomi may launch the Mi Mix 2S at MWC 2018 and it will be a successor to Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Recently benchmarks od Mi Mix 2Swere leaked and in it, the Mi Mix 2S was overpowering the  Apple’s iPhone X.The smartphone may sport a 5.9-inch display and a battery capacity of 3400mAh.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2, XZ2 and XZ2 Compact

Sony is expected to launch XZ Premium 2, XZ2 and XZ2 Compact at MWC 2018. This time Sony may be the champion here because this time Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc and 6GB of RAM. XZ Premium 2 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch 4k display with thinner bezels and may have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Sony Xperia XZ2 may or may not happen but some rumours suggest that the phone will be launching at MWC. Rumours say the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The display will be a 5.5-inch display. Chances of Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact are less but it may be launched along with these two smartphones.

LG V30s

LG at MWC 2018 may launch LG V30S and the only difference between the previously launched V30 and V30S is that the V30S will come with AI(Artificial Intelligence) which will make the phone smarter and an increased storage size of 256GB.

Motorola’s Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play

Motorola may unveil Moto G6 lineup at the event. Moto G6 and G6 Plus are expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and Snapdragon 630 SoC respectively. Phones will be coming with an integration of 3GB/4GB on the G6 and 4GB and 6GB on the G6 Plus. Alongside, the company may also launch Moto G6 play with Snapdragon 430 SoC.

Asus

Asus may launch Zenfone 5 smartphone at the event. Asus Zenfone 5 will be coming with 18:9 aspect ratio screen which will be Asus’s first time for the company. The Zenfone 5 is expected to come with Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB of RAM.
