FNT Fiber Network Tools was established in 2001 as a division of Fiber Network Training and Consulting Services to offer fiber optic equipment and supplies to FNT students. In 2004, FNT Tools separated from Fiber Network Training and Consulting Services as a sole-proprietorship. In 2005, FNT Fiber Network Tools became a certified women business enterprise and incorporated as FNT Fiber Network Tools and Telecom Supplies, Inc.
