Oh no, it’s not a very good news, Google has pulled out the free app of the week section from play store.

Sometime last month, Google introduced free app of the week section on play store where you can download one paid app for free every week. This was really a welcome idea from them and all users were really enjoying it.

News coming lately to us has shown that the section is no longer live on Google play store, Google has not given any reason to discontinue the free app of the week section.
