Jio-a Network owned by Mr. Mukesh Ambani announced free calling and data in its different services putting the future of other network operators in danger.
Free calling and free data all over india turned to be an ace card for his network jio. Within few months of launch,jio accumulated a enormous user base and turned out to be a huge success despite of speed throttling in many areas and problems of call drop too.
Jio moved with a constant speed gaining lakhs of subscribers every month and recently they crossed a 50 million mark of users connecting to jio network.
There were many tiffs between Ambani and Bharti Airtel published in newspaper because of the service provided by jio. Airtel claimed that jio was fooling the indian customers by providing free voice calls and data. But the insecurity among other networks were clearly seen and airtel even blocked the service to portable their sim to Jio network.
But lately all the other networks realised that they would fall in great trouble in near future if they don't provide relief to their users by easing out the price of their Recharge packs.
Recently, airtel,bsnl,idea came up with fixed recharge packs with free calling and data services.

Although these networks has announced such free services but it would be keen to see when these offers are made applicable and they don't withdraw it.

Vodafone, india's second largest network seems to have been greatly affected by jio.
Vodafone recently announced double 4G data usage under their existing 4G plans.This offer is applicable only for 4G circles and only for 4G sim cards.
Earlier vodafone used to provide 1 GB of 4G data for Rs 255 but after this announcement they will provide additional1 GB 4G data with this recharge pack.
6 GB of 4G data is to be provided with the recharge of Rs 459 against the earlier 4 GB data for the same plan.
Now onwards 559 plan will provide 8 GB data usage,20 GB for 999,40 GB data usage for 1999.All this recharge packs are valid for 28 days from the date of recharge.
