Space Tech Expo 2017: SOLIDWORKS and Extreme Robots

Space Tech Expo USA is America’s engineering and manufacturing meeting place for space technology. Held this year during May 23-May 25 in Pasadena, California, the show will feature Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS platform along with 240 other exhibitors. Space Tech Expo 2017 is expected to draw in over 3,600 attendees, from 15 different job sectors.

The Space Tech Expo will be offering its annual Open Technical Forum, which is free for all and explores topics ranging from aerospace manufacturing to testing innovations. There will be a spotlight on the SOLIDWORKS, which will shed light on how the platform aides NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Speaker Andrew Gross, Senior Technical Manager, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS will interview Aaron Parness PhD, the Group Leader for Extreme Environments Robotics of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and get insight on how the Dassault Systèmes platform plays a role in professional projects.  That interview will take place at 11:00am Wednesday on the main stage.

For those that will be in attendance, SOLIDWORKS will be in booth 6000 along with GoEngineer, which delivers software, technology and expertise that enable companies to unlock design innovation and deliver better products faster. GoEngineer is a channel partner that provides clients new design solutions from SOLIDWORKS CAD, Stratasys 3D printing, Creaform 3D scanning, CAMWorks.
