Since Windows 10 is now the most used operating system in the world, we thought it would be useful and informative to take a closer look at how it uses Microsoft accounts. As we all know, when you add a user Account to Windows 10, you get to choose between using a local offline account or a Microsoft online account. The idea behind this setup is that if you want to take advantage of all the new Windows 10 features and modern apps, you are required to use a Microsoft online account. This creates a rift between the two types of user experiences and it’s frustrating for the people who like and want to use local offline accounts and don’t want to be beholden to an online account.
