Leeds United continued their perfect start to the season, shrugging off an error-prone first half to defeat Rotherham United 2-0 as manager Marcelo Bielsa became the first man to win his first 4 matches in charge of the illustrious club.
Bielsa’s side were lucky not to concede in the first 45 minutes at Elland Road after the visitors failed to capitalize on some wobbly defending by the Whites.
The second half was a different story though, as Leeds put relentless pressure on their opponents; holding on to possession and churning out some incisive passes on their way to a hard fought win.
Like in their first 3 victories, fans were witness to some exquisite moves by Bielsa’s men. One move down the right flank was particularly breathtaking as Leeds cut through the Rotherham Defence thanks to some brilliant link-up play between Ayling, Hernandez and Saiz.
