Sri Lankan selector have selected 15-member squad for three match Test series against India that gets underway later this month. Selectors have dropped Kaushal Silva and Kusal Mendis from the squad.
Angelo Mathews , former captain returns to side after recovering from hamstring injury. Sri Lanka will leave for India on Wednesday and will have eight days prior to the first test in Kolkata during which they will play warm up game. Sri Lanka's top class spin bowler Rangana Herath recently expressed his feelings about winning test match in India during his interview with Cricbuzz. He stated that "It is one of my dreams, How wonderful it would be to win a test match in India as we have never won there before."
As Sri Lanka has never won a Test match in India also recently India has whitewashed Sri Lanka , All eyes will be on Sri Lankan team and their performance in coming series. All 3 tests will be played at Kolakta, Nagpur and Delhi respectively.
