Barcelona are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on France Under-21 international Issa Diop.

According to the football transfer rumours in French media (L’Equipe), Barcelona are tracking Toulouse centre-back Issa Diop.

Diop has scored five goals and provided two assists in 80 games for Toulouse, including two goals in 26 games in all competitions this season.

The France Under-21 international joined Toulouse in 2006. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.

The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in France.

Barcelona are scouting the 21-year-old, who has been in considerably impressive form for Toulouse in recent times.

Issa Diop has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 39 caps and scoring three goals.

Issa Diop will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Toulouse this term.

Ernesto Valverde wants to sign a new centre-back and Issa Diop is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The report claims that Barcelona manager has extensively scouted Diop and is considering a move for the defender.
