Match 1: Sam Querrey VS. Marin Čilić
Who knew if Sam Querrey will defeat the 3-time Wimbledon Champion Novak Djokovic? But, to everybody’s astonishment, Querrey did something nobody expected. On the other hand, Marin Čilić beat Gilles Müller in the quarterfinals and made his way to the next round. Now 7th seed Čilić will be facing 24th seed Querrey in the semifinals of the tourney. Well, the competition is going to be very tough as both the players have played quite well in the championships so far. For both the players, it will be their first Wimbledon semifinal, hence very little can be said as of now. Somehow, experts came to a decision and stated Čilić is a little more likely to win than Querrey. There is a difference of 60 to 40 percent between the two in winning the match. What do you think?
Match 2: Roger Federer VS. Tomáš Berdych
So, let’s agree that most of us want to see Federer creating history in Wimbledon. The player has won the grand slam title 7 times and if he wins this time, he will be breaking his own record. Talking about his opponent, Tomáš Berdych, the player has really played outstanding in the 2017 Wimbledon Championships. Speaking of their rivalry, the last time when the two met on the courts of Wimbledon, Federer could barely be stopped. It was in 2010 when both the players met in the quarterfinals of the Championship. Berdych threw the Swiss Machine off the court to everybody’s shock. And who knows if Tomáš will repeat history again! Well, as per the experts and various polls, it seems that this time Berdych won’t be able to do so as Federer will do anything to win his 8th Wimbledon Title. Not to mention, Federer will also become the second oldest male player to reach a Wimbledon final in the Open Era if he wins in the semifinals.
