Germany Facing Relegation in UEFA Nations League After Defeat from France

Germany’s status in league A of Uefa Nations League is under serious threat as Joachim Low’s men suffered another defeat this midweek, this time from raining World Cup winner, France.

Straight from a disappointing 3-0 loss against Netherlands last weekend, Der Panzer found themselves experiencing another tough game against Les Blues, which didn’t end well either for the 2014 world champion.

Determined in bouncing back after their horrible previous result, Die Mannschaft actually put on a positive display on that match as they found themselves going one goal up after Toni Kroos converted from the spot on 14th minute.

That single goal lasted until half time break as there’s a sense of renewed beliefs suddenly arriving for Low’s boys as they see out that first period of exciting football.

However, Les Blues were determined not to disappoint their loyal devotees and pushed hard in getting back on level terms, which they eventually did through Antoine Griezmann’s effort.

The Atletico Madrid man finally completed his national side’s turn around as he scored the winning goal 10 minutes from time to secure all three points for Didier Deschamps’ men.

This result puts Les Blues competing for that shot into Nations League finals round, leaving Germany’s fate under serious threat of relegating from league A spot.
