Cameroon and Australia Shared a Point in Confederation Cup

Cameroon and Australia’s chances in advancing into the knock out stages of Confederations Cup gets tougher as both teams drew level on their second group game.

Battling against each other following their first fixtures defeats, both teams were determined in acquiring all three points, especially the African champions.

The Indomitable Lions were aggressive since kick off as they were pushing for goals during the first 45 minutes.

Hugo Broos’ men did got what they were searching for just before the half time whistle when Andre Zambo Anguissa scored and put them in front as they go into the second period.

Australia reacted positively though after going one goal down as they pounce forward soon after the re-start.

After an hour of the match, Socceroos finally got themselves back on level terms as Mark Milligan converted from the spot kick.

Both teams continue to battle hard in search for that elusive winning goal, but unfortunately until the final whistle was blown none of those two sides were able to add to their tally.

Not a bad result obviously, but it’s not what they are looking for either as it’s put both Cameroon and Aussie in a  must win situation on their final group game.
