The battle for Champions League Ticket in English Premier League finally ended as the season reached its final match day this Sunday.

Liverpool eventually ending up as the winner in that race for fourth place spot as they defeated Middlesbrough on their final game 3-0.

It was a tense battle indeed for Jurgen Klopp’s men as they successfully ending Arsenal’s consecutive top four finish this season.

Playing in front of their home crowd didn’t make things much easier for The Reds as they were struggling to break their opponent’s down early on.

Fortunately, a late first half strike from Georginio Wijnaldum pretty much calmed the nerves at Anfield  as they took a one goal lead going into the second half.

Things got much better after the break as Liverpool added two more goals through Philippe Coutinho along with Adam Lallana.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have to settle for Europa League spot next season despite winning 3-1 against Everton.

Hector Bellerin opened the scoring for Gunners just before the 10 minutes mark with a close range finish inside the penalty area.

However, Arsene Wenger’s men were forced to play with only 10 men soon afterwards as Laurent Koscielny saw red.

Nevertheless, the Emirates based outfit remained dominant as they added a second goal from Alexis Sanchez’s effort.

Everton made things slightly interesting in the second half when Romelu Lukaku pulled one back for Ronaldo Koeman’s boys, but late goal from Aaron Ramsay sealed all three points for Wenger’s men.
