Mourinho Believes Price Tag Affected Pogba’s Form at Man United

Paul Pogba’s performances in his first season at Manchester United can’t be considered as a success as many have been criticizing the Frenchman.

The midfielder’s boss, Jose Mourinho himself admitted that his star player might not have the best of season, but that’s more due to Pogba’s price tag.

Speaking tot he media, Mourinho Believes that with such huge amount of fee being burdened into the French international’s shoulder, it’s always going to be difficult for him.

The Portuguese tactician further explained that people will naturally expecting more from Pogba because of world record transfer fee from Juventus.

Mourinho went on to add that should his midfield star’s price was just half of what Man United paid, things might be much easier for the 24-year-old.

For that reason, the former Chelsea boss is hoping that there will be a new record breaking transfer occurring this summer so his French midfielder will be free of that high price tag burden.

In all, the special one do believe that negative judgement over Pogba’s form this season is totally unfair as Mourinho believes that the French international has performed fairly well.

The manager thinks that there are only little amount of games in which the French midfield star was not performing well, while in most he has been good.
