The baseball team picked up their 20th win of the season vs K-State last night. The softball team takes on Iowa in a doubleheader tonight starting at 3 p.m. CDT.

Don't look now, but that young, overwhelmed squad we saw early in the season has now picked up eight straight wins, including a sweep of the then-ranked Wisconsin Badgers. Even more impressive? All eight wins have come on the road.

To this point of the season, the Huskers have played the 2nd most difficult schedule, based on opponent's win %. The schedule lightens up considerably and they have a chance to take their 16-20 record and turn it into something that could get them consideration for postseason play.
