With just 48 days until kickoff, let’s talk about the easiest touchdown Blake Bortles will ever throw to Allen Robinson — a 48-yard catch-and-run thanks to a big breakdown in the Miami Dolphins secondary.
"I'm killing us.”

Let this 48-yard touchdown from Blake Bortles to Allen Robinson take you into the weekend. https://t.co/ad8BJEVTK2 pic.twitter.com/48vkT37fW5
This was one of Bortles’ first starts and it could not have gone worse for the then-rookie. He threw this touchdown to Allen Robinson, but also threw two touchdowns to Dolphins defenders before that in a rare double pick-six effort.
"I'm killing us," Bortles said after the game. "I've got to try to eliminate different things and get better."
I remember it being such a weird game too. The Dolphins offense was pathetic and the Jaguars was doing relatively well. At one point just before halftime, the Jaguars had outgained the Dolphins 199-4 yards.
Let’s hope the pick-six interceptions are behind Bortles as he led the league in 2016 in touchdowns to the other team.
