Barcelona kicks off their LaLiga campaign with a home game at the Camp Nou against Real Betis and they would be hoping to grab all three points.

Ernesto Valverde put his through their paces on Saturday and has now made his pick for their game on Sunday.

Making recoveries from their injuries are Thomas Vermaelen and Gerard Pique. Pique was recently injured in their Spanish Super Cup second-leg tie against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Players who missed through injuries include: Iniesta, Rafinha and Suárez who are all injured.

And those left out for one reason or the other are Marlon, Munir, Samper, Douglas and Vermaelen.

For Valverde, the priority is “to play well and win and look for that balance between attack and defence.”

Speaking on the squad, the coach continued: “Iniesta won’t train today and Piqué will train and after that we will see if he can be considered.”
