Barcelona are having it tough in landing their number targets who are all top players. And one of such targets is Hector Bellerin who left La Masia for Arsenal in 2011.

The right-back is a wanted man at the Camp Nou this summer. But Arsenal are refusing to sell and the player’s recent contract he signed made the job a lot harder for Barcelona.

The team return to preseason training soon (July 12) and it would do the team some good if at least one player arrives sooner rather than later.

According to Mundo Deportivo, in the next 10 days, Barcelona would be turning their attention to other options. A done deal for Bellerin is not expected to be achieved within these 10 days. But what Barcelona want is to have gotten some sort of decisive breakthroughs in talks.

At least four other players are on Barcelona shortlist to fill the right-back position.

Nelson Semedo: The Benfica man one is Barcelona’s preferred plan B to Bellerin. But the fee the Portuguese club are asking for had put a strain on talks. Discussions have cooled in recent weeks.

But last week saw his agent Jorge Mendes meet with Barcelona’s representatives in Barcelona.

Joao Cancelo: He currently plays for Valencia and at 23-years-old, he still has a bright future ahead. Barcelona and Valencia have a good relationship and he was constantly linked throughout last season.

But Barcelona have worrying concerns as his form dropped during the season.

Cedric Soares: Currently plying his trade in the Premier League with Southampton. The 25-year-old has been watched by Roberto Fernandez a couple of times.

Álvaro Odriozola: He is 21-years-old and currently plays for Real Sociedad. He is currently with the Spanish U21 team at the Euro Championship
