Any quarterback rumors relating to the Top 5 picks of the NFL Draft is relevant to the Denver Broncos. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King noted that there is a “growing belief” that the New York Giants will pass on a quarterback with the number two pick.

It is interesting to note that if they change their minds, they would go with Wyoming’s Josh Allen at number two. Allen would be the perfect fit in New York. He would benefit from sitting a year or two behind a guy like Eli Manning, which would be the perfect situation for both the young quarterback and the aging veteran.
Drafting Allen would also open things up for the Broncos at number five whether they sign Kirk Cousins in free agency or not.
