[Updated] Odell Beckham Injury - What We Know

The Giants superstar was injured against the Browns

New York Giants fans, and the Giants themselves are holding their breath.

Superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was injured making a reception in the first quarter of the Giants’ game against the Cleveland Browns. Beckham was hit low on a play that, while legal, appeared dirty, on a play-action pass as he made the catch.

Beckham immediately came off the field and went back into the locker room. Fortunately he made his way back into the facilities under his own power, but ultimately had to be helped back into the locker room.

He was cleared of a concussion by the medical staff present and initially diagnosed with an ankle Injury. However, he was last shown being taken away on a cart, reportedly to receive an MRI to evaluate for further injury.

We don’t yet know the extent or exact nature of Beckham’s injury, and can only cross our fingers until we hear official word from the Giants themselves.

Stay tuned to Big Blue View for news on Beckham as we get it.

[UPDATE] - Beckham is back on the sideline in street clothes and doesn’t seem to be in any distress walking around.
