Hoop Hounds Look To Make Statement Against Auburn

Georgia comes into this afternoon’s road contest with Auburn on the heels of the first SEC win of the Tom Crean era, an impressive 82-69 road victory over Vandy. That followed the worst program loss since 1959. If you’re not sure what exactly will happen next, we’ll, you're not alone.

Auburn comes into the game ranked #11 in the nation but also smarting from an 82-67 loss to Ole Miss. Auburn has struggled to get production from its front court, while the ‘Dawgs have relied on front court standouts Nic Claxton, Rayshaun Hammonds, and Derek Ogbeide.

Georgia traveled to Auburn without head coach Tom Crean, who was in Detroit Friday with his ailing mother. Crean is expected to join the team for the game however.

Tipoff is at 4:00 eastern on ESPN2.

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
