Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield made a habit this season of letting his mouth and antics get him in trouble. Monday night’s Rose Bowl was no different, with Mayfield conspicuously disrupting Georgia’s receivers during pregame warmups and delivering a throat slashing “it’s over” after Rodrigo Blankenship’s early missed field goal.
But in fact it wasn’t over at that point. When it was over, Mayfield was the one trudging dejectedly toward the locker room, but not before Bulldog linebacker Davin Bellamy imparted some solid life advice.

It’s not a bad idea to keep oneself humble lest one be humbled by the Universe. Or Roquan Smith.
Now, whether you need to remind yourself to stay grounded, or want to remind everyone around you of that time Baker Mayfield learned this hard lesson, there’s a t-shirt for that from BreakingT.com.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I intend to pick one up for myself and send one to Mayfield courtesy of the Oklahoma Athletic Department. I’m sure he’ll appreciate the gesture. Until later . . .
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
