The annual G Day game produced some Offensive fireworks (more on those later), a fairly big commitment (again, more on that later), and at least one arrest.

Athens-Clarke County jail records indicate that Brunswick offensive lineman D’Antne Demery was picked up at 10:52 pm Saturday for criminal trespass and simple battery. No bond is listed as the charges are marked “family violence” (though it's a little unclear why Demery would have been charged with simple battery rather than the more specific ‘family violence battery’ if that's the case).
