Well, it took us a week to get there, but eventually we had an underwhelming day of World Cup Football from Russia, with few surprises, few goals, and not a lot to write home about. Still, the VAR decided to step in during last night’s match between Spain and Iran, which at least gave us something to talk about last night, on top of Portugal’s match against Morocco and the match between Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
