Fabinho tips 26-year-old Liverpool FC star to become one of world’s best

Fabinho is confident that Liverpool FC star Sadio Mane can become one of the best players in the world at Anfield.

The Senegal international has forged a fruitful partnership with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah over the past 12 months or so.

In doing so, the trio have emerged as one of the most dangerous attacks in world football after Liverpool FC’s forwards scored a combined 90 goals in all competitions last term.

Mane made a strong start to the 2018-19 season after the African star netted four times in their opening four games in the Premier League back in August.

However, the 26-year-old hasn’t found the back of the net since a 2-1 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on 1 September.

Mane failed to score a goal during a difficult of fixtures against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea FC, Napoli and Manchester City over the past four weeks.

Liverpool FC summer signing Fabinho believes Mane has all the tools required to blossom into a world class player at the Merseyside outfit.

“Sadio Mane is an excellent player. Before I came to Liverpool, I saw him on TV and I liked him a lot,” Fahinho is quoted by saying This Is Anfield.

“He is very fast and very intelligent. He has everything to continue growing to become one of the best players in the world.

“I hope he continues with us for a long time. It is a pleasure to play alongside him.

“Our trio of attack is one of the most powerful in the world of football.

“They are complete, they are very fast, they have a very fast thinking speed, and they understand each other very well.

“They want to get better and they are very hungry for goals. Our team is very good because of the strength of our attack. I hope they score many goals this season.”

Liverpool FC signed Mane in a £30m deal in the 2016 summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp looked to leave his mark on the Reds squad that he inherited from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.

Mane netted 25 goals in 75 outings during two seasons at Southampton to attract interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

The Liverpool FC number 10 played alongside summer signing Naby Keita during his brief stint at Swiss club Red Bull Salzburg before his move to the Premier League.

Mane is still waiting to get his hands on his first piece of silverware at Liverpool FC, having suffered disappointments in the Champions League, the Europa League and the League Cup finals.

The Senegal forward will be hoping to end his goal drought when Liverpool FC make the trip to Huddersfield Town on Saturday evening.
