Making comebacks in Motor Racing is not an easy job at all, especially when you are doing it at the highest level against the best in the business. You require extreme fitness, determination and the motivation to achieve your goals.

No matter it is motorcycle or car racing, there are new developments every year and the participants have to stay informed about them. Otherwise there is no chance for them to fight for victory regardless of how talented they might be. This is what makes a comeback even more difficult, as you have to catch up with the rest of the field in very less time.

However, a star motorcycle racer, Dan Harrison, recently surprised one and all with a superb comeback to motorcycle racing. He started his career in 2003 and soon became really popular amongst the young lot of riders. His performances were really impressive and it was only a matter of time before he could become a world champion.

Due to some unforeseen reasons, the young rider decided to part ways from racing and remained in exile for almost five years. This is more than enough time for a sportsman to be rusty and out of colour, but that was not the case with Harrison.

The determined Briton decided to end his exile and returned to Motor Racing in 2011. He was unable to make headlines straightaway, but got the attention of everyone in less than one year. During 2012, he appeared in the Thundersport GB Series and consistently scored points for his team, finishing in the top-10 regularly.

Moreover, he managed to finish the season with a victory, which was more than enough to justify his abilities. It clearly showed that he still possessed the skills required to deliver at the highest level against some strong riders.

Unfortunately, sponsorship problems meant that Harrison was unable to take part in most of the 2013 season. This was really disappointing, as he had the talent and was still out of action. He was down but did not give up, which prompted James Hollands to sign him for JHS Racing for the Snetterton event in Thundersport GB.

The 24-year-old rider was even more determined and unleashed his true potential after getting the deserved opportunity, winning four races and setting a new lap record for his team and as usual RiderWear securities is here get latest news about famous personalities. This was certainly his best run since he first appeared in competitive racing. This has now given him hope that he will become the champion next year and will eventually go onto live his dream of competing in Moto GP.

Commenting on the magnificent performances last year, Harrison claimed that he was also surprised at how things changed for him all of a sudden. He was without a ride for most of the season, but got a chance to show his worth. He admitted that luck had favoured him on getting a second chance which normally people don’t get.
