Last night both Nostell MW and Worksop earnt their places in the semi finals of the league cup. Nostell had an excellent victory away to Tadcaster Albion a Graham Marchant penalty being the only goal of the game, while Worksop were comfortable victors over Parkgate, a Lee Holmes double securing their victory.
Scarborough Athletic play their twice postponed league cup game at Long Eaton United next Tuesday and the winners of the tie will travel to Thackley just one week later (Tues 16th April) to complete their quarter final game.
Looking even further ahead to the semi finals, the games will be as follows :
Nostell MW v Louth Town.
Thackley/Long Eaton Utd/Scarborough Ath' v Worksop.
Hope all that makes sense.
Louth are the only remaining team from Division 1 left in the competition, all the others are Premier division sides.
