Just because I need to get this off my chest - maybe for my own sanity or to convince myself otherwise? You be the judge.

Dallas Cowboys defense has not shown me one thing to make me a believer in them. If you know me, I really wanna believe, I wanna keep the faith!! Where for art thou Ware?? Yes, its only been 2 games, but Dallas has not gotten ONE sack!! Manningham was always WIDE OPEN, even when, every once in a while, Eli was under alot of pressure. That one pass interference call on Newman was complete B.S, but I will not use that as an excuse. And a special thanks to these defenders because this same lame excuse for a defense are my fantasty defense team! Sure, they hold the Giants to a very low ground offense, but hell Eli still had 330 passing yards! Unacceptable! Is it Wade's defensive play calling? Is he not using Ware efficiently? Do I really expect too much?

The offense turns the ball over 4 times in a game and is still winning! That tells me something! Maybe there is a small dim light at the end of Jerryworld. Romo tells me he is not the same QB he was a year ago. When giving his post game speech following the Sun. night game, he took full responsibilty for his game. He did not blame anyone else, he did not say he was running off to Mexico with his next flame, and he finally became the QB we have always wanted him to be - he grew up. To take some of Dennis Green's famous quote, "He is the QB I thought he was", "Go ahead and crown him" It took him about 3 years to get to this point, but Romo is there. Dont be a hater. I don't think Romo will continue to turn the ball over and make bad decisions. Even one of those INT were not his fault. We shall see against Carolina what we are really made of on Monday night in prime time. Of course no team should not be afraid of the Panthers, at least not with their QB, Jake. Again, we will be in the spotlight. The team loves the spotlight, Jerry loves the spotlight and frankly we deserve the light b/c we are afterall, America's team. While we are on the prime time theme, can we all just shut up about the board. Let me remind folks who dont know, Jerry followed the NFL rules on hanging that video board WAY before it was built. We set the attendance record for a regular season game in Jerryworld - how sad before that the record was not even set in this country!! Hang in there Cowboy fans, the glass is half full with offense, half empty with defense and I have to convince myself that this might be the year we will fill the cup. I say that every year to at some point be let down. I have to say that I truly believe this team will be no where until Wade is gone and we get a coach who believes in some discipline and gets back to basics.

To convince myself, I say we will be in the playoffs. We will win that one playoff game we have been dying to get for almost a decade. I can live in Jerryworld for this season and convince myself anything is possible. One thing can be certain.... If Wade does not deliver some sort of playoff win or more, he is history!!! I can hang my hat on that realization for at least a few more months - or this could be the year the Boys prove everyone wrong. Which is why for my sake, my sanity, my being.. Im writing, if only to convince myself... "They are who they thought they were" (thanks Dennis Green) We shall see....
