Rio Ferdinand Out For 6 Weeks Due To Hamstring Injury

Manchester United victory over West Brom faded with news of the Injury of English defender Rio Ferdinand.

Ferdinand came off just before half time due to a Hamstring Injury. United defender is not expected to be back for at least 6 weeks.

Ferguson told: "We've had a rough time with injuries.

"Young Rafa has done his shoulder in training in Friday and will be out for 10 weeks, he's probably going to have an operation.

"Rio will be out for six weeks. Vida will have checks tomorrow, we don't know if it's just a nerve or something, but he could be out for a couple of weeks."

Manchester United are already facing injury problems in defense with Rafael out for 10 weeks.
