The 23-year old midfielder signed for Chelsea last summer from Monaco for £40m and played 25 Premier League matches in his first season at the club.
Bakayoko struggled in his first season in England and Chelsea have improved their midfield options this summer with the signing of Jorginho from Napoli, a player new coach Sarri is familiar with, and Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid.
The former Monaco midfielder was not involved in Chelsea's first Premier League match against Huddersfield which ended in a 3-0 win for the Blues with goals from Jorginho, N'Golo Kante, and Pedro.
AC Milan have announced that they will unveil Bakayoko at a press conference in Milan on Friday, August 17th, 3pm.
