Arsenal vs Brighton Confirmed Team lineups : Injury updates and Match Preview

Arsenal will be looking to maintain their perfect record at Emirates Stadium this season when Brighton Hove and Albion arrive in north London on Sunday. The Gunners are on a descent run of games during the last few weeks which included a draw at Stamford Bridge and a couple of convincing wins over West Brom and Bournemouth in the League and will need to maintain that ahead of the international break. This is the first league meeting between Brighton and Arsenal since February 1983 and the Seagulls are still adjusting to the rigours of the top-flight. Last meeting between the two was in a 3-2 meeting in the FA Cup in the 2014/2015 season. Arsene Wenger has currently won a Premier League game against 44 different teams bringing him level with Sir Alex Ferguson. If he goes on to win this match, Brighton will be the 45th different club he’s beaten in the competition making it an outright record for a Premier League Manager.

Arsenal sit in the 7th place and in the league and a win over Brighton will bring them level on points with Chelsea and ahead of Liverpool if they do not manage to win over Newcastle later on today.

Ahead of the Match against Brighton Hove and Albion here is the team news : Mesut Ozil will not be back for the clash as he still hasn’t properly recovered from his knee inflation and will miss the International games ahead too. Koscielny is a doubt with his recurring achilles problem and will undergoe a late scan to determine his availability. Probably best to provide him a breather instead of pressuring him to play. Hes a starter for the French National team and their manager will not show him the respite that he needs so best to rest him out of this one. According to the manager Saed Kolasinac had a little problem but it was too little a problem for him and he will be in the squad today after being given the nod. Also Alex Iwobi who was out in the midweek with a thigh injury was spotted back in training and will likely make the squad for the game against Brighton Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck and Calum Chambers are all injured. No Arsenal players are suspended.

Here is the confirmed Arsenal Team Lineup vs Brighton Hove Albion :

Arsenal : Cech, Holding, Mustafi, Monreal, Xhaka, Ramsey, Bellerin, Kolasinac, Iwobi, Sanchez, Lacazette Substitutes : Ospina, Mertesacker, Wilshere, Elneney, Niles, Walcott, Giroud
